RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
The Science & Data Behind BestWorld
BestWorld is reimagining both traditional and social media-based news with both our own research and by linking to other research efforts.
Details here on novel ways in which traditional news media are enabling readers to affect how they present the news. These techniques are far more than merely allowing comments.
Would you like to collaborate with our research? One possibility: a custom version of our human/AI forecasting system to analyze and predict how your breaking news story might unfold over the coming days.
You can become a part of this project as one of the first BestWorld citizen journalists reporting what’s now and, more importantly, what comes next. Please sign up on the form below or email carolyn.meinel [at] bestworld.net if you would like to participate and we will provide you with a custom test newsbot such as those here.

The BestWorld Project Purpose & Goals
BestWorld is working to reimagine both traditional and social media-based news.
You can become a part of this project as one of the first BestWorld citizen journalists reporting what’s now and, more importantly, what comes next.
No matter where or when big news breaks, you’ll be armed with a bleeding-edge artificial intelligence (AI) platform that will find and translate local news and social media to give you a handle on who are3 the eye witnesses. You’ll collaborate with our human/AI forecasting system to analyze and predict how your breaking news story might unfold over the coming days, weeks, even years.
In addition to our AI bots vs our staff experiments, we continue experimenting with this concept on a small and partial scale at the RAND Forecasting Initiative. Join us there to get a glimpse of what’s next–and a chance to win prize money.
